Dont Die 3.0 Update (Merry Christmas!)

Just a regular sized content update, with some cautious optimism.

Features:

• All melee weapons now have a swing animation
• You can now enter a unique area once you've reached 20 floors underground
• Added a unique npc to an area
• Added a special treasure chest
• Added 2 new hats
• Added December decorations to the castle as well as some gifts
• Mining the floor out while underground now produces stone
• Added wooden swords that can be crafted at a workbench
• Added some festive outfits
• New dialogue options with the Archmage
• Tables, coin pouches, dragon eggs, small ponds, campfires, houses, forges and merchant goods can now be examined with the magnifying glass
• Examining sign posts and grave markers now shows the message written on them
• Examining campfires now shows whether it's burning or extinguished
• decreased the icon size of the eyepatch and feather slightly

Bug Fixes:

• Player reclaims the correct amount of coins from their own corpse(s)
• Removed a redundant script from the underground mine (no affect on gameplay?)

As you may notice this was just a regular content update and I did not yet add the large expansions that I was hinting at before. This stuff is still planned, but I decided to take it easy and release it in pieces rather than all at once. hoping to do a "slow and steady" approach to this particular content, with the hopes of reducing weird game breaking bugs, and keeping this polished. Keep an eye peeled for each new section of the Inferno expansion. 

As well you may notice these last 2 updates have been filled with a lot of magnifying glass improvements, and I think I finally got caught up on all the objects that needed it. You probably won't be seeing any more changes like that, unless I just forget a whole bunch of items or something.

Remember that as I release new layers, your old saves may not be compatible with newer versions of the game. If you want to wait for the full expansion before trying that game I would understand, and I'll make sure to mention it in my devlog whenever I release the final piece.

P.S. Merry Christmas and happy new year! The citizens in the world of Don't Die, don't celebrate any real holidays, but I like to add some decorations and outfits to keep things fun. let me know if you think these little holiday items are something I should keep adding.
