Dont Die 2.2 Update


General content update. Nothing huge, but some new stuff to play with.

Features:

  • Added another necromancer that the player can find, and trade with
  • Players can now contaminate wells with poison, which will harm nearby people
  • Added jackals to the desert
  • The building menu now closes automatically after making a choice
  • Spell books now also close automatically after making a choice
  • Some characters carry around full waterskins
  • Can now fill waterskins at freshwater locations
  • Fire Demons are now completely immune to fire magic
  • Rocks and ores will now drop a little material when destroyed in combat with a weapon
  • Dragonfire will burn away weak clothing like peasant clothes, and peasant dress
  • Flames, wells, beds, and barrels can now be examined
  • Barrels now show how full they are when examined
  • Flames will now go out after a few seconds
  • The Archmage uses more than one spell now
  • Jinx, Hex, and Curse have been reworked and all last exactly 5 seconds each (total damage value remains the same)

Bug Fixes:

  • The staff of death no longer does twice as much damage as it was supposed to
  • Certain death spells no longer produce a game error when the target dies
  • Fixed a bug creating infinite buckets near the town well


See you in a week or two with update 2.3

I have plans for adding ship combat to sailing,  by adding cannons to your ship somehow. There are also a handful of interactions with wells I want to add, but that can wait. And perhaps adding an interface to customizing your homunculus at a phylactery, which could potentially make the whole process easier, increase fps, and allow for more options.
